About Me
James Kasim has built a record of leadership in the financial services and real estate industries. He previously led one of the nation’s largest privately-owned commercial real estate firms, where he was involved in several aspects of the firm's operations and strategic decision making. He has also assisted several companies in numerous public and private offerings of both equity and debt capital. In addition, he has also assisted in closing upwards of $2 billion in transactions and has been integrally involved in complex merger and acquisition activities for both public and private companies.
Mr. Kasim spent the early stage of his career in the Los Angeles office of Ernst & Young, LLP, where he spent over eleven years concentrating on clients in several industries, including working with a client base that included Fortune 500 companies. He holds an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at University of Southern California, where he graduated with honors, and is both a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant. Mr. Kasim also previously served as a member of the Report Quality Monitoring Committee of the California State Board of Accountancy and served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California. |
